- Approximately 2 hours of riding on trail, but riding time may vary depending on the pace.
- The pace can be adjusted from laid-back touring (no riding experience required) to a faster paced ride for the experienced rider.
- 2 hours of guided bird watching from the ranch to the traditional farmlands.
- Depart from the city office 7:00 am. This is the suggested time, private rides can choose their start time.
- Return around 3:00 pm, about 6 hours from pick-up to drop-off.

No experience needed for this multi-disciplined adventure!
Begin the day watching the dozens of species of birds that are residents at Rancho Pitaya and in the surrounding farmlands. Your guide will instruct in how to use binoculars to recognise individual species from their behaviour, their calls and their plumage.
After a freshly prepared brunch, ride out from the ranch and into the hills of the protected communal lands where old growth cacti and beautiful wild agaves abound. Stunning panorama vistas surround the ride back to Rancho Pitaya.
Snacks and refreshments served at the end of the ride, before returning to the city of Oaxaca.
